A little bit about me:

I am an Irish astronomer currently studying my PhD at University of Edinburgh. Before that I attended Queens University Belfast (QUB) where I attained my Physics MSci degree. It was during my final year there when I did a masters project on exoplanet atmospheres, I discovering a keen passion for this research field. From here, it was clear this is what I wanted to study in a PhD project and I was lucky enough to be offered to opportunity to work on such research in Scotland.

Outside of research I'm a keen sports fan, especially football, tennis and ice hockey. I've recently taken up running as a one of my main pastimes, with a (very slow paced) marathon completed in 2019. I love travelling, especially to new and distant places! Coffee shops are my favourite workspaces. I also love food, especially sushi and cheese!
